Custom circular & double-hook tension springs — hooks on both ends, built to your load, length, and hook style.
A double-hook tension spring (also called a circular-hook or double-loop extension spring) has a hook or circular loop on each end, used to connect two components and pull them together under load. GL Springs manufactures custom double-hook and circular-hook tension springs to your exact load, free length, and hook configuration — in a wide range of materials and finishes, with samples available before mass production.

The hooks transmit the spring's load, so the end style matters as much as the body:
Tell us how the spring mounts and we'll recommend the right hook style for strength and assembly.
What's the difference between a circular-hook and a double-hook tension spring?
"Circular hook" describes the round, closed-loop shape of the end; "double hook" means there's a hook on both ends. Many springs are both — round hooks on each end. We make all hook styles to your drawing.
What materials can you use?
Carbon, alloy, and stainless steels, plus copper alloys and nickel alloys (Inconel / Hastelloy) for special environments.
Do you provide samples?
Yes — 7-day sampling is available before mass production.
